Terms of purchase
Last updated: 15 November 2025
These terms govern purchase of services from Noredetail / Oslo Bilpleie AS(“we/us”). By ordering you accept the terms. Consumer rights apply in addition to what is stated here. This document is general information and does not constitute legal advice.
1. Ordering and confirmation
Orders are made via our digital channels or by agreement. An agreement is entered into when you receive an order confirmation from us. You are responsible for ensuring that the information provided is correct (contact details, registration number, etc.). We may reject or rearrange orders in case of obvious errors (for example price errors) or lack of capacity.
2. Prices, discounts and campaigns
- Prices are stated in NOK incl. VAT. Surcharges may apply for extra time (for example unusually dirty cars, pet hair, asphalt spots), but this is clarified with you before work.
- Campaigns and discounts apply in the stated period and can normally not be combined, unless something else is clearly stated.
- Any “before prices” and “save” messages shall be in line with applicable rules on the lowest price in a given period. When the discount is personal or based on flexible times, the price advantage shall be clear before you confirm the order.
3. Payment
Payment normally happens at handover or by further agreement via approved payment solutions (for example Vipps and/or card). We do not store card data; processing of payment information happens at our payment provider. For larger jobs or special orders we may require a deposit.
4. Cancellation and no-show
- Cancellation is free of charge until 24 hours before the agreed appointment, unless something else is stated in the booking.
- Late cancellation or no-show may be charged up to 100% of the price to cover lost capacity.
- Rebooking is attempted as far as capacity allows. Contact us as early as possible if you want to change the time.
5. Delivery of the service
The service is carried out at the agreed place and time. The car must be available, drivable and lockable. We reserve the right to choose a professionally suitable method and products within the agreed scope. The car is inspected at drop-off and handover.
We may document work with before/after photos. Such photos may be used in internal documentation and anonymised marketing. Number plates and other identifying details are blurred if photos are published.
6. Warranty, defects and complaints
- We guarantee professional workmanship based on the car’s starting point. For coating, paint sealing and polishing, durability assumes that you follow recommended wash and maintenance routines.
- Any defects must be reported within a reasonable time after you discovered or should have discovered them. We will then assess whether there is a basis for repair, price reduction or other remedy in line with consumer law.
- Some defects (for example deep scratches, rust, stone chips and previous resprays) cannot be removed without painting, and therefore fall outside what is regarded as a defect in polishing/coating.
See also the warranty page.
7. Limitation of liability
We are responsible for direct loss as a result of errors we are at fault for, within the framework of applicable consumer legislation. Indirect loss – such as lost earnings, hire-car costs or other consequential costs – is normally not compensated, unless otherwise follows from mandatory law. Our liability is in any case limited to the amount you have paid for the specific service, as far as the law allows.
8. Right of withdrawal
For distance sales and sales outside fixed premises, the Norwegian Cancellation Act may apply to services. When work has begun before the withdrawal period expires, after your express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal may then lapse, you may be liable for the part of the service that has been delivered. You will receive clear information about any right of withdrawal in connection with the order.
9. Privacy and cookies
See our privacy statement and cookie policy for details on how we process personal data and use cookies.
10. Force majeure
If extraordinary circumstances beyond our control make it impossible or unreasonably burdensome to fulfil the agreement (for example extreme weather, power/network outage, fire, pandemic or official orders), obligations may temporarily be suspended without liability for damages. We will then try to find a new time or another practical solution.
11. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms when needed. Material changes are communicated clearly on the website or directly to affected customers. The date at the top (“Last updated”) shows the current version.
