What the warranty covers
At Noredetail we distinguish between workmanship (the execution) and product terms (the film/coating).
We stand behind professional workmanship based on the car’s starting point. The product’s expected function follows what is agreed for the specific package, and what is stated in your written agreement or warranty certificate.
Which services this applies to
Warranty is tied to the job that has been carried out – typically PPF/XPEL PPF, ceramic coating and polishing/paint correction when it is part of an agreed package.
Chrome Delete and other special jobs are assessed individually. What applies to your car is stated in the quote and in the documentation you receive at handover.
Product warranty vs workmanship warranty
Workmanship warranty is about the installation/application being done professionally: clean panels, correct preparation, finish control and a documented process.
Product warranty is about the material’s properties (for example film or coating) and follows the manufacturer’s/supplier’s terms where relevant. We do not state general “warranty years” on this page because duration and coverage vary with product, package and written agreement.
Your responsibility as a customer
Durability assumes gentle maintenance. Follow the recommended wash plan you receive at handover.
Avoid brush washes and aggressive chemicals used incorrectly. Tell us early if something looks abnormal – the earlier we see the car, the easier it is to assess the case.
Maintenance and wash
Gentle hand wash with suitable products is usually best. Incorrect wash, incorrect chemistry or missing maintenance can reduce lifetime and affect the terms.
Where annual inspection or service is recommended for your package, it is stated in the maintenance plan. Such inspection is the customer’s responsibility to book when it is a condition in the agreement.
Typical exceptions
The warranty normally does not cover external damage such as stone chips after installation, accidents, vandalism, rust from previous damage, or damage caused by incorrect wash/chemistry.
Deep scratches, previous resprays and conditions that require painting fall outside what can be expected to be corrected with polishing or coating alone.
Missing maintenance, documented deviation from the recommended wash plan, or changes made by a third party can also affect the assessment.
How to report a warranty case
Contact us as soon as you notice something. Provide name, registration number, which service was carried out, the date of the job and a short description.
Feel free to attach photos in good light. We assess the case and agree any inspection. Any repair, price reduction or other solution follows consumer law and the written agreement for the job.
